Introduction to
Inverted Nipple Correction

In the majority of cases, inverted nipples occur as a result of a congenital defect caused by an underdevelopment of the milk ducts, which retract the nipples as the breast develops. Inverted nipples can also be acquired after certain breast diseases e.g. mastitis, breast cancer, following breast surgery or after childbirth.

Inverted nipples can be a major cause of embarrassment to the sufferer but are readily amenable to correction by surgery.

The purpose of inverted nipple correction is to pull out or evert the hidden nipples so that they protrude from the centre of the areola.

The Dublin Cosmetic Surgery Centre has successfully performed inverted nipple corrections on many women in over 20 years.

FREE Inverted Nipple Correction consultatons with highly experienced cosmetic surgeons are available at our Dublin, Cork or Mullingar clinic.
