The Treatment

Day of Calcium Hydroxylapatite Treatment

An important factor to be fully aware of before a Radiesse™ filler treatment procedure is:

Driving: You will be able to drive home after the procedure but we thoroughly recommend that you are driven home by someone.

The surgeon will answer any final questions/queries you may have about the Radiesse™ filler treatment before taking preoperative photographs of the treatment area.

The Calcium Hydroxylapatite Treatment

A Radiesse™ filler treatment procedure usually takes between 10 minutes and 1 hour (depending on the treatment area) and is performed under local anaesthetic (if required).

The area to be treated is numbed with local anaesthetic creams or nerve blocks (if required). Using a very fine needle (so that injection pain is minimal), the appropriate lines/areas are injected with Radiesse™.

Ice packs can be applied afterwards if required, to reduce swelling.
