Introduction to
Dermal & Facial Fillers - Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic acid is a natural material present in all connective tissue which has been developed as a temporary filling agent to successfully treat lines, wrinkles and furrows.
Hyaluronic acid fillers are available in different strengths and their respective use is dependent upon the problem in hand (i.e. their site, severity and extent). Because hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the body, an allergy test is not required before treatment.
The Dublin Cosmetic Surgery Centre uses a stable and biodegradable synthetic hyaluronic acid produced by Q-Med called Restylane® gel. There are now several different strengths of injectible gel available (each having their own specific name) designed for specific areas of the face and depth of wrinkles to be treated.
The Dublin Cosmetic Surgery Centre has performed Restylane® filler treatments on hundreds of women & men over many years.
FREE Hyaluronic Acid Filler consultatons with highly experienced cosmetic surgeons are available at our Dublin or Mullingar clinic.
