Dermal & Facial Fillers - Hyaluronic Acid
FAQs
(Frequently Asked Questions about Hyaluronic Acid Treatment)
Q. What can go wrong with Hyaluronic Acid fillers?
A. Hyaluronic acid fillers are arguably the safest fillers available. Apart from occasional bruising and swelling, side effects are extremely rare. Allergies have been reported but these are extremely uncommon and usually subside spontaneously very quickly.
Q. What if I don’t like the effect of a Hyaluronic Acid filler, is it reversible?
A. One of the advantages of using hyaluronic acid fillers is that if a wrinkle or area is overcorrected and the effect is undesirable to the patient the result can be reversed by simply injecting it with an agent which dissolves the injected product very quickly.
