The Treatment


Day of Hyaluronic Acid Treatment

An important factor to be fully aware of before a Restylane^® filler treatment procedure is:

Driving: You will be able to drive home after the procedure but we thoroughly recommend that you are driven home by someone.

The surgeon will answer any final questions/queries you may have about the Restylane^® filler treatment before taking preoperative photographs of the treatment area.

The Hyaluronic Acid Treatment 

A Restylane^® filler treatment procedure usually takes 10 minutes and is performed under local anaesthetic (if required).

The area to be treated is numbed with local anaesthetic creams or nerve blocks (if required). Using a very fine needle (so that injection pain is minimal), the appropriate lines/ areas are injected with Restylane^®.

Ice packs are applied afterwards if required, to reduce swelling.
