Post-Treatment Management

You will be discharged home shortly after an anti wrinkle treatment procedure and be issued with a telephone number to ring in the event of a problem or query.

You should stay upright for a few hours and certainly not lie down for at least 4 hours after the injections.

The treated area should not be touched, rubbed or massaged for at least 4 hours after the injections in order to prevent an unwanted side effect in adjacent tissues or muscles.

Recovery & Results Following Treatment for Lines & Wrinkles

Return to normal activity can proceed immediately after the lines & wrinkles treatment. It can take several days for the appropriate muscles to hibernate and a few weeks to gain the full effect of the anti wrinkle treatment which should last for about 4 months.

Hibernation treatment is an ongoing process and once the muscles have returned to full activity a further course of injections should be given, otherwise the beneficial effects obtained with the previous course of injections will be reversed.
